The Role
Great colleagues and loads of training in the opening 2 months.
Could approach all members of the company with questions and they would actively help with any issues
Regular catch-up meetings, reviews and feedback sessions on completion of tasks. Exceptional guidance.
Everyday something new was there to challenge me, workload varied day to day depending on your progress.
A lot of responsibility was given as I chose to ask for it, was allowed to independantly meet customers following a series of impressive projects in the branch.
I have understood the industry, developed myself technically as well as soft skills. The rotation in sales has given me more direct on where I would like to be in the future.
The Company
Atmosphere is great, there is even an Employee Appreciation Week where we get fun challenges and games to do.
Very well organised, it has been running in the company for a while now so the schedule was already in place.
I sat 2 months of training worth thousands of pounds, was also Certified in programming using their LabVIEW software, much appreciated!
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
Very good, have been offered scholarship and a place on the graduate scheme when I finish next year! What more could I want!
The Culture
A group of about 10 interns were at the company at the same time as me so it had a good social scene.
Cost of living is fairly standard city prices.
The nightlife lacks, only two real clubs in Newbury but they aren't too bad.
There are loads of charity event that the company gets involved in, never a boring moment.
