About You
I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Nabarro. Everyone was so welcoming and supportive.
I felt really valued whilst at the firm as I had the opportunity to get involved with real interesting client work. I was able to draft letters/proposals that will be used by my team.
Each vacation scheme student was allocated a supervisor and a trainee buddy who were incredibly supportive throughout the 3 weeks. My team were also incredibly supportive and many of them would pop in to my office to make sure I was getting on okay.
I was able to build on my communication, networking and teamwork skills whilst at Nabarro. The business development and networking session was particularly valuable - I have definitely taken away some useful hints and tips that I'm sure will be useful in the future.
The Company
The 3 weeks were very well structured. There was a real balance between social events, project nabarro work and department work.
The atmosphere was fun, friendly and supportive.
The training at the start of the summer scheme was really useful. I had no previous experience of using LexisNexis, PLC and Westlaw and so the training was really valuable.
The vacation scheme has provided a really valuable insight into what it would be like to be a trainee solicitor at Nabarro. I have had the opportunity to get involved with real trainee work, and have been able to attend team meetings, and really get a feel for what the trainee day-to-day looks like at Nabarro.
It was really useful to be placed within 1 department for the entire 3 weeks as you really got to settle in to both the team and wider Nabarro culture. It provided a great lens into the Nabarro culture.
The content was both interesting and challenging and amongst other things, it cemented my ambition to train at Nabarro.
Everything Else
There were many opportunities to network within the firm, for example, we had the option to partake in the annual 'Corporate Games' in Manchester.
