The Role
It was great. I enjoyed it a lot.
To a great extent. I was given responsibility from the outset.
Open door policy is exceptional. Everyone was willing to offer advice and guidance when asked.
I was quite busy. However, no pressure is put on you to perform. It is up to the individual to take as much responsibility as he or she would like to take.
A lot. It is, I think, dependent on how eager you are in terms of how much you want to do. Coming in over the Brexit period made things a bit more frenetic than usual so I was able to dive right in.
To a large extent. It gave me quite a well-rounded idea as to what will be expected from me once I graduate with the relevant qualifications.
The Company
An atmosphere of uncertainty was present due to Brexit, but to see how the company dealt with that was very interesting and informative and I would say it was a great atmosphere in which to learn.
It was very well structured and a great experience from start to finish.
To a large extent. We had numerous talks each week at great expense and effort on the part of the company, so there is no doubt that the company prioritises training and development of interns.
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
Company Parties/Events
Very. The structured support that is provided and the great scope that the company has in terms of services provided makes the prospect of working for JLL appealing to a new graduate that wants to learn about and his or her feet in the industry.
The Culture
It was very good. We had regular events and we were invited by our teams to drinks etc. I also joined the cricket team and we had a great time socialising after our weekly games. I also went to a number of lunches with directors that was great.
It is quite high in central London, however we were subsidised and all drinks and food was paid for.
It is amazing. Working around the corner from Soho in London says it all.
Yes. I was able to easily fit in with the cricket team and we were taken to the annual triathlon arranged by JLL which was great. There are numerous opportunities depending on one's interests.
