The Role
I was afforded some great opportunists whilst on my placement which extended beyond the scope on my initial job role. Overall great experience/skills gained. Office is, whilst professional, friendly and informal. .Only room for improvement i think would be from time-to-time can feel 'corporate' and there can be some red-tape when trying to get things done quickly.
Teammates were friendly and having 50+ interns really made the placement great.
Outstanding amount from managers/supervisors. really helped me learn throughout the year and grow.
Pretty busy!
Given a lot of responsibilities that would be deemed as critical for the business. A lot put on interns after the initial training period which is good to see.
This would be my first time working in an office and a global company so I think it'll help me out greatly for future job prospects.
The Company
Like I said before, everyone in the team I worked with were nice and pleasant. Having lots of interns through the internship year wa really fun.
Training and outlining of job responsibilities were all well communicated,
Lots of training, conferences, 'lectures' and coaches available to join through out the year I was here.
Flexi Time
Subsidised/Company Gym
National Travel
International Travel
Financial Bonus
Company Parties/Events
Difficult to judge with recent Intel restructure.
The Culture
Yeah they were a good laugh.
Pretty cheap overall, rent wasn't too high.
Can't lie Swindon isn't amazing for nightlife - nights out with interns are fun but the clubs themselves are pretty poor. Alot of events were away from Swindon.
Cool sports clubs and events set by the company to do
