The Role
I really enjoyed it. Great atmosphere to the office and everyone was very welcoming.
My manager gave me a huge amount of responsibility in setting up specific processes, and he made it clear that i was a vital part of the team
I had weekly meetings with my manager and with the open door policy, i could always walk into anyone's office with a question and get the answer straight away.
Like with any company, there are peak periods and down periods. It's about managing the work effectively and in your downtime trying to increase your knowledge.
A great deal of responsibility. Groupe SEB is a company where interns actually need to perform in the role they have.
Every experience i've had at Groupe SEB will help me in the future, whether that be answers to interviews or examples in coursework/ exams
The Company
Very relaxed, however there are times where it is quiet as everyone is getting on with their jobs
Very well organised
I completed a number of online courses which i had full support of my manager on
Sports and Social Club
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
unfortunately the team i worked in are quite small. So there isn't really an opportunity for me to come back.
The Culture
Very good social scene, there are about 5/6 interns a year.
Windsor is an expensive area, however its a really nice town to live in.
Lots of staff parties are hosted each year and with that comes the inevitable night out after, you will enjoy the clubs!
There were a few activities we did as a whole marketing department throughout the year
