About You
If I have to describe my insight in one word this will be enriching in all aspects. I've learn a lot about the power industry, about what kind of jobs a engineer could do, the amount of opportunities I will have working in this company... Also it has helped me to put into practice all the knowledge I've gain during my years of university. I've also had a lot of fun learning new things and being part of a team were my work was appreciated. This opportunity is been amazing in all aspects, including the personal ones, having the oppotunity as well to meet really interesting and amazing people and being able to work with them.
When I was working on my project my manager was insisting all the time that my work was really appreciated and that will help a lot to the team, making me feel really included and valued.
I've been lucky enough to be part of a very good team were everyone was offering me help any time I needed and specially my line manager has spend a lot of time explaining me everything, helping me and guiding me every time I've needed his assistant.
After these 8 weeks I can say that I've learned a lot. At university you learn all the theory but when you put this knowledge into practice is when you really see how much you know and I can say that now I know much more than when I started my placement.
The Company
The insight was very well structured with objectives and personal development goals set from the beginning

They have invest in everything I've needed.
I have had the opportunity to speak to many departments and many different people with different roles and works in the company helping me to understand wvery well what would mean to work for them.
The company culture was clear from the beginning
Very helpful. It has helped me to clarify many of the questions I had before starting my placement.
Everything Else
Many! The company was insisting all the time about networking and how important it is.
Very good. Had the opportunity to meet very different and important people.
Yes, by email and people from the team.
