The Role
The work has been interesting and engaging and all the colleagues I've worked with have been helpful and friendly, overall making it a very rewarding experience.
Colleagues have all been helpful and nice, however it has been a struggle chasing for feedback as everyone has been engaged.
The buddy and people manager system meant that help was always available, and when not surrounding colleagues were happy to help.
Got through work quite quickly but there was almost always something waiting.
I was able to complete tax returns independently and all work was checked through thoroughly.
Have gained a wider understanding of tax which is relevant to my degree.
The Company
Friendly and helpful atmosphere, lack of separate offices allowed you to socialise with people of all different hierarchies.
Internship programme has been running for years, is therefore well organised and adjusted.
Company held several training days to help us with our placement, including a residential at Bradenham Manor to 'develop our business impact'
National Travel
Company Parties/Events
Company provides lots of opportunities to advance and develop.
The Culture
Yes, GT arranged lots of events for all the interns to socialise, including a residential where interns from across the country got to meet and socialise.
London is an expensive place to live and socialising is expensive if not expensed to the company.
London has a great nightlife, unfortunately I wasn't able to experience it as I had to commute home every night.
Yes, team organised drinks
