The Role
I really enjoyed my internship. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming from the first day throughout.
Felt highly valued by my colleagues, despite having very limited knowledge when starting.
Was given good support from both my People Manager and Buddy. However, even buddys in other departments were so helpful and supportive.
If I had an assigned task I was busy for the entire day. However because of the time of my internship there wasn't much work to be completed and many people were on holiday - therefore some days I did not have much assigned work.
I was given a high level of responsibility during my placement.
Gave me practical skills to support the theoretical knowledge I knew from University. Gave me insight into a career within Audit and Tax, helped confirm it was what I wanted to do once I left University.
The Company
very welcoming and relaxed.
well organised by all those involved.
Got a range of training in different areas to improve knowledge.
Company Parties/Events
Future employment prospects look great.
The Culture
Social scene was good - made better by events such as the Welcome event in London, with all the interns in the UK.
cost of living was average
nightlife was very good
had different social events to get involved with such as the football tournament.
