The Role
I have really enjoyed my placement year and couldn't have imagined being anywhere else
At golfbreaks, the placements are valued just as much as the full time staff and given as much responsibility as them
My manager was incredible throughout my whole year, both professionally and personally and I will definitely be staying in touch with her.
Being in the travel industry, the work load is quite seasonal, so during the busy periods of the year, we did not stop, however this did quieten down throughout the slower months
The placements are treated exactly the same as the full time staff, and are given just as much responsibility.
I have definitely learnt skills that will assist me in the future, both in work and in university, however, i definitely feel the job could have been more challenging
The Company
To say the office is based around a call center, the atmosphere is incredible. Everyone is friendly and looks as if they enjoy their job.
The placement scheme is run very well
the placements make up a large amount of the workforce so they are very invested in us
Company Parties/Events
