The Role
I really enjoyed it, every day was different and everyone was very welcoming and happy to answer any questions
They always seemed to be grateful when I finished the work they had given me
Thy answered any questions that I had and were happy to show me how to use new software
I was given plenty to do by a variety of people so the work I did was hugely varied
I was given the responsibility of helping to decide tenant's rent following their rent renewals, and drafting letters which were sent out to them
I have furthered my knowledge of using excel and learnt how to make my way around new programmes which Savills use
The Company
I found the atmosphere really welcoming and everyone was very friendly, and took interest to see how I was getting on and were happy for me to accompany them to client meetings.
The first few days, there was work lined up and visits planned, after this - I worked for whoever had jobs for me
They took the time to show my how to work the in house software for three programmes which I had never used before
Company Parties/Events
I will definitely apply to the graduate scheme
The Culture
There were only two others in the office, and we went for drinks a few times
I stayed in a student house which was very cheap
I didn't go out, but went for drinks several times
Summer office party
