    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Very good - team made me feel very included.

    5/5

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • Highly - even went for a meal with one of the directors of our client

    5/5

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • A lot of support was available (even though I didn't need it, most of the time)

    5/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • Very - my team ensured there were tasks for me to do everyday (once I'd settled in)

    5/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • Quite a significant amount - my work still had to be checked by my manager most of the time, but my work actually had a large impact on the project itself

    4/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • A LOT of business skills have been learnt on my end. I even learnt how to use post-it notes correctly (not as easy as you think)

    5/5

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • The offices very pretty relaxed, and VERY modern

    4/5

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • Awfully. I was meant to be doing an entirely different project, and the recruitment team placed me on the wrong one. That being said, I still performed at my best and impressed my managers at my time here, so not a major issue. Another point to mention is that I have been told the completely wrong location for my partner interview for a week, before it got clarified. (I got told it was in London initially, and then in Manchester.) Also expenses didn't get paid when I expected to.

    2/5

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • Basic online training, nothing too arduous

    4/5

  • 10. What were the perks on your work placement?
  • Flexi Time

    Subsidised Canteen

    Sports and Social Club

    National Travel

    Company Parties/Events

    Travel loan

    4/5

  • 11. How appealing are future employment prospects within the organisation?
  • Very. Strongly considering a career with this company.

    4/5

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Yes. Plenty of nights out, which appeals to me.

    4/5

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • Expensive, only because it's the centre of Manchester/Leeds

    3/5

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • Awesome.

    5/5

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • Yes.

    4/5
