The Role
Very nice team, friendly and good to be around. Motivated and energetic.
Instructions on tasks which I had never done before were sometimes very limited. I appreciate the importance of independent work but a little more guidance at times would have been helpful.
Attended many interesting site visits and had an on going research project throughout the 4 weeks.
Felt I could have been given quite a lot more responsibility.
Learnt to use a number of programmes and improved my excel skills, but felt they could have been pushed a bit more. Varied site visits were very beneficial and a unique opportunity to enhance my understanding of the market in a practical and direct way.
The Company
Lively, enthusiastic, hard working, motivated - very good.
Good and departmental talks / city tour were a great way to meet other interns. Organisation within teams varies more.
Very unique opportunity to gain a first hand insight into the property world and Savills as a company. Very useful and beneficial.
Sports and Social Club
Company Parties/Events
The internship certainly confirmed that Savills would be an excellent company to work for. The ethos, atmosphere and work ethic are very strong and I can certainly imagine myself here.
The Culture
Organised rounders and departmental talks / city tour were good opportunities to meet fellow placement students.
London is inevitably expensive but a great place to be
Really fun, loads of places to go. Very central.
Rounders, charity runs, softball
