The Role
Incredibly enjoyable internship. Everyone who works at EY is friendly and approachable.
Everyone makes you feel right at home. If ever you try to speak to anyone they give you their time, don't make you feel a nuisance and give you genuine answers and advice.
You are assigned a buddy and a counsellor. Your buddy is normally a first year and is there for general questions and to introduce you to the team. Your counsellor is higher and more to track your progress.
It is dependent on what client you are assigned and which senior you answer to. But I was kept very busy.
Very quickly I was introduced to the client and went to see them when I had a query. The work was not necessarily challenging all the time but everything I was assigned was necessary to progress the audit.
They will not assist my degree as my degree is Mechanical Engineering but I have learnt lots about how the specific business I was assigned was run and can understand why auditors have an amazing understanding about how businesses function.
The Company
Very friendly atmosphere.
Quite well organised. Although a fellow intern ended up not doing much for the first 3 weeks in order to get clearance for something only to then be reassigned when he finally got it.
They seemed to really care about you.

The Culture
It was ok.
Cheap for me because I go to university in the same city and so already had a property to live in.
Fantastic
I got involved in the EY football team and met for drinks on a few occasions with various people.
