The Role
I really enjoyed my job. I always had plenty to do. The work was challenging without being too difficult.
My team in particular made me feel very welcome and valued. They all knew me and assigned me work.
My team leader encouraged me to bring up any problems I had during my internship and everyone in the office was easy to talk to, no matter how senior.
I always had work to do so I was never bored, yet never really felt rushed off my feet or had to stay late in the office. It was a good balance.
Right from the start I was given proper work and a lot of responsibility.
As this is the field I plan to go into after university, the skills I learnt will assist me throughout my career.
The Company
Everyone in the office was really friendly and there was a lot of socialising outside work.
The organisation was excellent for the most part. A small criticism would be that HR could have organised more intern social activities.
I got lots of training on excel, calculations and various other things.
Subsidised Canteen
Company Parties/Events
I have a job there and I am looking forward to going back.
The Culture
All the summer students got on really well. There was about 20 in total. We went out after work alot.
London is obviously very expensive but Im at University there anyway so i was used to it.
There were lots of bars and restaurants around.
