    About You

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

    • I have had such an amazing three weeks at the firm and I really am hoping that I will be able to return as a trainee.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued during your time at the company or firm?

    • Everyone was lovely, and made us feel so welcome and useful during our scheme. In my departments I was given real work to get on with and senior people from the firm took the time to explain everything!

    • Fantastic guidance and support from people at all levels in the firm!

  • 4. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and information you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?

    • I think I learnt a lot about working in an office environment, however I do think that the jobs I was able to do whilst on the scheme were limited by the knowledge I lacked. However no one expected a huge legal knowledge so it was a great learning opportunity.

    • Lots of socials, lots of talks, and overall a fun packed three weeks!!

    • I felt as though the firm put lots of effort into each of the vac scheme students!

    • It was the best way to get a true insight!

    • A great place, great people and overall a great time! The culture is fantastic.

    • Law is certainly for me, I knew it before the scheme but it really helped me to confirm that!

    Everything Else

  • 11. Were you paid or reimbursed adequately for this experience?

    • Very nice payment. Unfortunately it did not cover my expenses completely but I did not mind at all. The opportunity itself is worth the cost!

  • 12. Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees of the company or firm?

    • Every day I was invited to networking events and I was able to reach out to other people in the firm and talk to them about their experiences of Bakers too!

    • Great fun with great people (and no shortages of food and alcohol)!

    • throughout my time it was explained to me! Lots of opportunities for different people.
