The Role
It has been very insightful and I have enjoyed learning about the different areas in the bank. There has been a lot of support
From day one I was working on real projects with my manager which has given me a sense of responsibility
My team have always been keen to help me out when I have been unsure of things.
There were times when I was so busy it was a little much as I have also been involved in a group intern project. However, there were also times when i didnt have that much too do. But this could also be because of the role that I was in.
I have been given lots of responsibility. Sometime perhaps to the point where I felt that I didnt feel I knew enough to be heading things up. Having said that it has helped me grow and I have learnt a lot about time management and working under pressure.
I have definately gained many skills working here this summer, from better time management, to being able to work with people on a better level. I think that it has also helped me understand my role in life and where I fit in the big picture
The Company
Now that our team have moved down stairs it has been a little quieter. My team are very enthusiastic though/
The internship programme has been amazing, as we have been involved in so many overviews and been able to ask the questions that have been on our minds. There have also been many events for us to meet our fellow interns and graduates
I have done quite a few Training Central courses and have been up to london to understand the bigger picture, so I feel that there has been training. However, there have been times when I have been a little on doing some projects as I only knew surface level information which can be quite tricky when answering detailed questions and emails.

The company is one of the best in the industry and I have enjoyed my time working and learning with the people aronud me. I feel that I have given my best and hope to be offered a position in the end.
The Culture
There have been many times when the interns and graduate have gone out, without the company having to organise it, which has been great.
Bouremouth has a good social life and I really like the area, however it is quite far from my family.
The nightlife has been really good!
Yes, we have gone to the cinema, bowling and to the beach. There are lots of activities to do that have also not been organised by the company or the interns.
