The Role
I enjoyed this placement a lot, they give you a lot of responsibility and this helped me develop throughout the year.
I felt very valued, and this was made clear through internal recognition.
I was given the appropriate support and guidance from management, which allowed me to develop during my year. Everyone was always willing to help.
I was very occupied, during my time at HP we were short staffed so I was constantly taking on work. However, this meant I learnt very quickly. At times it was stressful but this is to be expected.
A lot of responsibility, they treat interns like permanent staff and this is reflected in the types of jobs you do.
I feel the skills I have learnt are very transferable and I am looking forward to applying them in my final year at University.
The Company
The overall atmosphere was a fairly good atmosphere, but I feel this depends on your team.
I feel the work placement is very organised due to how long it has been going on. Very clear and consistent structure.
I would say that my personal development was down to good personal management from my manager. He clearly outlined my development plan.

Working from home
Very appealing. They are also implementing a graduate scheme, which prioritizes those who have previously done internships at the company.
The Culture
Yes, there are a lot of interns across the company (20+), so there is always something to do. We also socialise with Hewlett Packard Enterprise interns so there are over 70 of us in total.
Fairly similar to London prices.
Good nightlife, the amount of interns make the nights out better.
Yes, a lot of options available. Not too far from London either.
