  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • The internship was fantastic and gave me some amazing experiences that I otherwise would not have been able to receive

    • Mostly everybody is really friendly and always there to help with anything at any time

    • Any time I could go to them and receive any support or guidance that I may require

    • Was fairly busy most of the time as there was plenty to do

    • I was responsible for most of my daily activities

    • The skills and experience I have received will benefit me for life as it has given me real world insight into the aerospace/energy industry

    • Everybody was cheerful and relaxed and it was always a fun environment to work in

    • The internship was set up well with plenty of things to be looking at while allowing me to manage my own workload

    • I have learnt so much through the training and experience Rolls-Royce have provided me and seen a lot of different things to gather a further understanding into the business

    • It truly is a great company to work for with so many career prospects within the company

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?

    • there is a strong social scene, especially among interns/graduates, with everybody being really friendly, fun and talkative

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?

    • I lived at home during the internship, however the place where I worked was slightly more expensive than where I lived

    • Not as good as Sheffield!
