The Role
Citi offers a challenging environment with a comprehensive programme for its summer intern.
Despite an intensive work, everybody takes time to explain you the big picture of your work and, answer your questions to enable you to learn quicker.
Regular meeting with the recruitment team. Exchanges and events organised by the HR team.
The workload can be divided between short deadlines and long-term projects. You always have something to do without being under pressure for all that.
The staffer gives you more and more responsibilities as you become a reliable member for the team.
This internship enabled me to refine my ability in the different software used in the banking sector. It's particularly interesting to apply in concrete what has been theoretically studied in lessons. I feel that I have now a better understanding of the common processes across the banking industry.
The Company
Right balance between intensive work and soothed atmosphere.
Everything is well-organised.
Citi particularly cares about the interns / people they hire and promote their professional and personal development.

Strong commitment of the firm to remain a very attractive place to work.
The Culture
Yes, networking events are organized across the internship.
Canary Wharf enables to organised easily social events with your fellow colleagues and colleagues of other banks too.
Bars and the mall stay open very late to welcome even people who finish work late.
Yes, you can meet people who enjoy the same hobbies as you do. As for me, I played soccer with a team of Citi colleagues.
