The Role
Kick-off with excellent networking opportunity during the training week in London. Interesting projects with steep learning curve
Friendly working atmosphere, teamwork and helping each other was strongly encouraged
Daily communication with team and supervisors. Senior bankers are easily to approachable.
Hours were good considering it is banking. Sometimes long days but totally enjoyable because the tasks were engaging and interesting.
Worked on important projects with obvious limitations that were caused by lack of knowledge or relationship within the firm (typical for any internship). Still got feeling of being part of the team.
Could improve my knowledge in banking and finance.
The Company
Very friendly atmosphere where teamwork was strongly encouraged (and expected).
Well organized by both regional HR in London and local HR in Zurich. Strong routines from previous internships.
Training week in London before start of internship. Also continuous assessment and improvement advices.
Company Parties/Events
I think it is fair. Not sure yet if offered future employment.
The Culture
Weekly social event during and after work.
Since internship was based in Zurich, cost of living was very high. Easy to socialize though.
Good but very expensive.
On weekends, yes.
