The Role
I really enjoyed the diverse and interesting tasks I was given throughout my placement.
I got on really well with all my colleagues and felt that the work I carried out was of great value to them.
In the tasks that I carried out I was given direct and informative instructions by my supervisor which allowed me to complete my tasks to the best of my ability.
Due to my variety of tasks I was always busy and had a good array of work to be carrying out throughout my whole placement
During my placement I was given a large amount of responsibility. I was set tasks with the licencee to complete them in a method that I felt was appropriate.
All the tasks I carried out will be extremely valuable to take into my final year of my degree and beyond and have given me great experience to use in a whole range of tasks.
The Company
Everyone has a great relationship with one another and has fun however at the same time it is very professional and working hard takes priority. Work hard play hard.
I was given one specific project management task which was the main basis for the placement and then additional tasks were given to me when i required them.
I was put on a very high quality training course during my placement which was great as the company was willing to invest in me.
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
Company Parties/Events
I need to decide on my future but Delcam but Im swayed massively to joining the company now.
The Culture
There was a large level of graduate and internship intake when I therefore there is a great level of social events and involvement.
For me I stayed with my family therefore it was cheap although I am aware of the local area and its reasonable along with food and socialising costs.
Our workplace is very near the centre of Birmingham and as a result it gives easy access to great city centre nightlife.
There were great activities such as Go Karting as well as team building activities early on in the placement.
