About You
I really enjoyed the programme. It was great to have such a hands-on experience.
I felt valued when I was on the programme, I always felt that the work was relevant and that I was contributing to the team.
Everyone was more than happy to help me if there was anything I didn't know how to do, all the staff were always available for me to ask them questions if I needed to.
The whole programme was a massive learning experience, it was great to be given so much responsibility. I also feel that the information I received will help me a lot in later life.
The Company
The first two days were based around training/inductions which helped as it meant that I wasn't thrown in at the deep end. From then on I was working as part of teams. Very well structured.
The atmosphere was great, everyone was really helpful and I never felt that I was out of my depth
The first two days were based around training, and from then on I was always learning from the people around me and work I was doing.
Being able to work on an audit as part of the team gave me the best possible insight into what working in the industry would entail.
Working alongside staff for the entirety of the placement gave me a great insight into the culture of the company, everyone was really helpful and no one expected you to be able to do everything straight away.
Very helpful, gave me a better insight into what working at a firm like this would be like than I could get anywhere else.
Everything Else
I was paid, and my travel expenses were reimbursed
I was always working alongside staff and meeting people at the company.
There was only one networking event (a lunch on the second day), but throughout the placement there were many other opportunities to network anyway.
Yes, I had the opportunity to talk to staff and find out what they do outside of work and what events the company run outside of work.
Yes, it was great
