The Role
Great people, great team and varied work
Everyone took the time out to speak to me, introduced themselves and made me feel like part of the team - especially as I was invited to the daily huddles
Weekly meetings with my line manager, and had opportunities to meet with HR staff and Grad recruitment team
Work varied, especially depending on the time of the month. But generally I wasn't too busy. Just a little hectic at times during the morning
I was not given too much responsibility. Being a very junior member of the team I had don't think I was given much but I didn't expect a great amount of responsibility as an intern
I have developed many skills during my 9 weeks here. Ranging from personal development and being able to now effectively communicate with others and with confidence. Equally I received technical training which I'll be able to utilise in almost every career path I wish to pursue.
The Company
Friendly and hard working. In fact I was very shocked to see how willing people were to spend time with me and to help me.
Internship was organised well however as with anything this could have been improved. Maybe next time a mini team rotation can be organised so individuals get maximum exposure to the different teams
There was a lot of scope for personal training and development, be this in the form of community affairs or online my campus learning tutorials available. The firm I believe invested quite a lot in me during my short time here
Flexi Time
Company Parties/Events
Great! Many perks if you progress from the internship to a full time placement
The Culture
Yes. We were all from a broad range of backgrounds but everyone clicked with a close pact amongst us
Central London - Inevitably expensive but this is the capital of the capital so worth it!
great bars and clubs with Shoreditch a stones throw away
The opportunities to get involved in activities outside work is second to none, absolutely fantastic! Employees are given 2 whole days per year to take part in community affairs project. Very rewarding firm to work for
