The Role
I really enjoy my placement, from the beginning I've been given a lot of responsibility.
My team were very welcoming and helpful. They made me feel included straight away.
My managers has been nothing but helpful and lets me work on projects that suit my interests and will help my future career prospects, as well as getting me involved in projects I had no knowledge of before.
A lot more responsibility than I would of imagined, which is good as I'm always busy.
I've learnt a vast amount while I've been at VWG and I'm sure I will base my dissertation around some of situations I've been in. There is plenty of chances to do training as well as the compulsory training courses I was put on.
The Company
My office is upbeat and everyone is friendly and busy.
Very well organised, having an overlap with the previous undergrad was really helpful as it gave me a 3 week induction to the whole company.
My manager is really helpful for my personal development and I've been out of the office to see other parts of the business. There is lots of training courses I can go on as well as compulsory ones.

The grad scheme has a smaller intake than the undergrad scheme and while some of us may get fast tracked to the assessment centre, nothing is guaranteed.
The Culture
Yes, VWG organised for us all the meet before our placements started which was really helpful, there is always lots going on due to there being 39 of us.
About average
Milton Keynes doesn't have the best nighlife, but there is quite a few bars in the centre.
There is sports teams which meet to play against each other and there is often team nights out
