The Role
Very useful and enjoyable time at the automotive giant. Great people, facilities, location and education.
An integral member of the team, did not feel like I was a placement student work as any other member of the team.
Lots of guidance is available from your line manager, supervisor and mentor. More support is also available from the HR team and other undergrads within your peer group.
I was incredibly busy, however this was not the case for all collegues. You can immerse yourself as much or as little as you like.
Everythig that I worked on during my time at vauhall was real and was of value to the bussiness if it didn't it would not have been done. You never work on anything that is nt real or live.
I believe that the skills gained from this job will benefit my career greatly. It truly is an experience like no other.
The Company
Very relaxed, you have your own space and are able to quietly ge on with what you need to do.
It was verystructured and there are many other people who are Industrialplacement student working within the company.
There were a number of trainingcourse available to me throughout the year such as Ecell training, presentation training, technical training on new vehicle that were being released.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
There are only a had full of oppertunitis to come back and wor within the orgaisation.
The Culture

Its relatively cheap, for somewhere so close to London.
It was prett good. An experience to say the least.
