The Role
I extremely enjoyed working with different teams and few among the best experts in this industry
This is one of the biggest benefits of Citi- people come first.
I had the opportunity to ask anything and got advice and help on every step of the way.
I was quite busy. I ended up in teams that do work a lot but that's exactly what I wanted in order to use this time properly.
I would say it was reasonable. As I am very junior, I was supervised in every task but had the opportunity to show my capabilities.
I finished my uni already, but I do feel that this gave a completely new perception of many things studied at school. If I would to go back, this would be extremely helpful!
The Company
Markets are very "live" so it is interesting all the time!
Very well organized. I had everything planned out well in advance.
Many training, many events, a lot of possibilities to develop myself. Shadowings were encouraged all the time and that is one of the most useful things.
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
Very! Many interesting opportunities that can be discussed with any team in advance in order to gain a better overview of the company and your potential future here.
The Culture
We were really good as a group. I believe training did make us closer and helped us to develop friendships. In addition, we had a weekly trading game which not only made us work but also made us closer.
London is quite expensive, but worth it!
Parlour is a must! Beside that, we didn't go out in Canary Wharf, we preferred other areas as they are more interesting in terms of clubs.
Plenty of them! Gym, events, social gatherings, charity... Every week there would be something new organized. Or if you wanted something outside the list, you could always ask and make it happen, people were very open for it.
