The Role
You learn something new every day and its an experience I will never forget!
Staff and colleagues are all so supportive and friendly, willing to help whatever the issue may be.
worked alongside the placement student and Graduates if supervisors or management were busy - support given however could be a little better
I don't like sitting and doing nothing, so whilst on a project I kept myself busy with events and networking activities and shadowing other teams
I was put on a project which was split to speed up the work flow. Certain requirements were given to me which I was in charge of.
This experience is like no other - the people I have met on this journey have so much knowledge and will happily share it. Training could be a bit better as sometimes I wasn't sure on things that Placement students were.
The Company
Each day is different - Each day is what you make it - the atmosphere every day starts positive. all the colleagues don't take life to seriously and nothing is ever an issue for them.
Activities were organised well and fun
I haven't received any personal training as I have only been here 10 weeks however I do think some training should be required as youre not just thrown onto a team knowing nothing.
Company Parties/Events
Since Brexit, employees are slightly worried about job opportunities, however for Graduate Students opportunities are still available across the board as the company always have something to offer.
The Culture
the rest of the Tech Interns are so friendly. we have created a good bond among the team and are looking to go to the theatre together next week
I know London is very expensive but I commute which saves me money
I have heard that the night life in London is amazing - some areas are more pricy than others so look out for a deal, but there are some very famous and nice restaurants and bars around the area which are welcoming and safe
There was many activities outside work such as Running event and charity events.
