The Role
I have enjoyed the internship very much, it gives you the possibility to choose the areas to experience and the amount of exposure to each team.
Most of the people make you feel valuable, they trust you with the tasks and encourage as much learning as possible. Everyone has always treated me as part of the team even when my input was minimal.
Sometimes, the senior people are just too busy to spend time with you, but they do try to find a way to have sit downs to guide you in the right direction. The juniors however are always super helpful and available for questions.
I have been very busy on daily basis, I had just couple of days with not much work load, but always tried to get on a new project right away. Initiative has always been appreciated and my staffer has been amazing at allocating interns to the preferred teams.
Some teams gave me more responsibility, others less. It is worth noting though that the teams I have been working with for longer time would give me more responsibility given the trust that has been built over time, which sort of makes sense.
The learning experience has been massive. It is incredible how many things I was able to learn in only 9-10 weeks. I have done a 6 months internship at another bank before and I can say that the learning curve has been much flatter than this summer.
The Company
The general atmosphere has been very positive, people are very hard working but they have very strong and interesting personalities. The cultures in the teams are very different, which makes the place diverse.
I believe the internship has been organized very well. We had four people looking after each of us and if one was to fully take advantage of each of them, it would be very useful throughout the internship.
The firm, which is represented by the people that work here, has invested in my personal training and development a lot. I have spent a lot of time with people explaining the industry, which I have not been familiar with before. Everyone has always been keen to help and answer questions. The training in the beginning of the internship has also been super useful, also for an accounting and finance student like me, because every firm has their own ways to treat data.

Company Parties/Events
I think the opportunities in the company are very broad with mobility across teams and offices also possible.
The Culture
London is expensive, but the pay easily covers the expenses.
London has a lot of choice for night life.
