The Role
During my placement year, there was a numerous number of projects taking place in which i got involved with. Some were more en joyful than others. There is plenty to learn from these, and as a student i feel its a good opportunity to gain an understanding of the Corporate world and what goes on within.
The levels of support was very good, my colleagues were always willing to lend a helping hand and would often engage in conversation with me.
I found on occasions that the management team was fairly busy and unable to support and guide me, they often got team leads or other people to help.
Some days were extremely quiet, whereas on other days there would be a lot to do.
I was given responsibilities throughout my placement year - Sometimes they would be more critical than other occasions but i always had senior level support and sign off.
The skills i received will definitely help in my degree. There were numerous presentations i had to stand and networking within the company has helped me with my vocabulary and ability to talk to different people.
