The Role
I significantly enjoyed my internship. The work i recieved was both challenging and interesting. Whenever i had an issue, or i did not understand something, I was offered help. Also, people are very friendly and it was a good experience to work hard, yet also play hard attending various social events with other interns. We received a good level of training and support.
I felt that i was very valued by my colleagues. They offered me help and guidance when i needed it. Furthermore, my colleagues provided me with work which often took me out of my comfort zone. Furthermore, My colleagues were very open to speak with me and spend part of their day teaching me about the various work they do.
I was given excellent support by my manager. She always made sure I had work to do and gave me feedback on every peice of work i completed which helped with my personal development. Furthermore, if i had any issues or worries she would take the time to speak with me and look out for my best interests. I appreciated having such a supportive line manager.
I was very busy on a daily basis, often staying after COB to ensure i have completed work to a very high standard and in a timely mannor. I enjoyed keeping busy.
I was given a good amount of resposnibility. For example, I would be tasked with sending things out to important stakeholders and i took a lead on my own project.
The skills i developed will help me as i learned the practicality of the subjects i am learning. Thus i have a new appreciation for my degree and I am eager to go back to university and use the skills i learnt to progress academically.
The Company
the atmosphere was good. People came to work with a smile and there was a good level of fun and jokes. Also, work was a good enviroment to learn in as everyone around me is always discussing problems and thinking of solutions.
The overall placement was organised well. I never had an issue trying to enter the building or with any access to the systems i require. There was good learning sessions throughout the internship as well as oppourtunities to meet with senior people in the business.
The firm invested greatly. There is a great abundance of resources available online and a we were always encourged to keep reading through everything and develop my own understanding of how things work. If i had a question after reading through something, then there would always be someone available to answer any questions i have.

they are very appealing. I believe working with the organistion presents itself with good oppourtunities for employment. Especially if you are able to network well.
The Culture
Yes, we would try to meet up as much as possible and take advantage of all the great social spots around London.
the cost of living is quite high in London however that is expected. The socialising is also expensive however it depends where you go.
the nightlife is lively and there is always people around during the evenings to have a drink with
yes, there were oppourtuntities to get involved in sporting activities as well as socials etc..
