The Role
I really enjoyed my time at Detica. I met some great people while I worked there and thoroughly enjoyed the tasks I was set.
I definitely felt valued by my colleagues. I was worried I would just be considered a "lowly intern" and be made to make coffee, but instead I was treated as a real member of the team.
The support and guidance I was given was really good. Lots of time was put aside to ensure I was happy with what I was working on
Pretty busy, there was always something to do and even when there wasn't, it was easy to find more stuff to do!
Lots of responsibility was allocated to me, I definitely felt like my work was being valued by the team and would be used in interesting ways.
The programming and software development skills I learnt while at Detica will definitely be useful for degree studies and beyond.
The Company
Fun environment, lots of chat.
I had buddies and a mentor assigned to me who helped with every aspect of the internship.
Detica really invested in my development through training courses and time people donated to supporting me.

Very appealing, it seems a great company to be a part of.
The Culture
Yep, there were lots of social activities organised and I really enjoyed spending time with the other interns.
Pretty normal prices.
We didn't really go out that much where we were based.
Yeah, lots of invites to additional activities.
