The Role
I really enjoyed my work placement. It was engaging, the support I was given fantastic and the work was interesting.
My colleagues always set aside time for me when I needed help, and the inputs I gave were always listened to.
My line manager was great - she focused on my development and helped me attune to an office enviroment and gave me regular feedback to improve.
Generally fairly busy, but never so busy that I couldn't take lunch, neither overworked or underworked.
My responsibility increased as my internship went on - I was given the right level of responsibility towards the end, not too much pressure but work that felt urgent and important.
The skills learnt will undoubtedly help, it has built my confidence a great deal. I now feel I will perform better in any work enviroment, especially working in teams.
The Company
The atmosphere was friendly but professional, people were happy to chat in their free time, but it was a working enviroment as you would expect.
It was fairly well organised, with Lloyds's internships the organisation is really down to the indivual and their line manager. My line manager was great at ensuring that everything was done timely, and that I had consistent reviews.
Alot of time really considering buisness pressures!

National Travel
Lloyds is an appealing company to work for - the work/life balance is good and the atmosphere in the company is a positive one.
The Culture
There was a great social scene! Regular socials were organised
The cost of living was high but that's London's fault. The pay was good enough to outweight this however, so it was fine really!
Good - London
