The Role
Pretty repetitive and simple work, but were some enjoyable aspects.
Made to feel like a permanent team member, very welcoming and friendly atmosphere.
Help available when needed. Training seemed a bit rushed but was still very insightful.
Gieven lots of work to do, had to work hard in order to meet targets.
Made to feel that I was expected to do the same job as permanent staff.
Don't feel I learnt specific skills for my desired career path, but have developed a more professional approach to work and some key life skills.
The Company
There were lots of 'events' taking place each week in the office made it a bit more enjoyable.
I was part of the first group of interns, taking this into account I think they did a really good job.
A mentor was assigned to me but she also had to mentor the 5 other interns. Training was limited.
Outside of the department I was in there a plenty of exciting opportunities within the company.
The Culture
Traveled from about 10 miles to get to work using public transport this was really expensive, did have much money left.
Aldershot.
There was one BBQ at lunch time over the 2 months I worked there.
