The Role
It has been a very insightful placement. I have felt stretched and valued especially towrads the end of my internship and have gained allot of transferbale skills.
They have been very friendly and accommodating
Had weekly 1 to 1 meetings with direct line manager and couple meetings with Team Manager
To start with i I had very little work and didnt feel like my time was made the most of. Certainbly towards the last few weeks of the internship I feel I was much busier and my time here was more valued and made the most of.
Again I have been given a reasonable ammount oif responsibility, especially towards the end of the internship but again at the begining ( first few weeks0 i had very little of it.
This internship was very different to were I envisage my career path to be as I see myself working inScience and the internship was in Commercial Banking. Now even though these are very different I feel I have gained allot of transferable skills which I will defiinitley be able to use in any career path I take and therefore feel this internship was very valuble to me in this particular reason.
The Company
Very cheerful , welcoming and genrally a nice enviroment to work in.
Again I feel there could be much more organisation done prior to my arrival as it took a while for me to start getting on with some "value-add" work.
Dont feel like much as havent attended any training sessions or induction.
I have an Interest in the Graduate scheme offered at Lloyds Banking Group.
The Culture
Yeah social events were organised , although some of the students placed in my accommodation were quite inconsidarate and this caused a bit of an issue as all have suffered the consequences of this rather than soley the individuals responsible.
It was quite expensive due to the placemnt being located in London but this can be expected.
It was okay although didnt part take much in it.
There was some sport and scoial evcent happening throughout my time here.
