    4/5

    4/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • The work skills will help me greatly In my desired future career path and a little in terms of personal time management and organisation

    3/5

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • A friendly working but serious atmosphere. People were able to talk and socialise freely but were often working too much to do so.

    2/5

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • Although the work I completed was seamlessly organised the approach to the internship was less so. I was told I would have a London location ( easily commutable for me) when I received my offer which subsequently led to me turning down offers from other companies. However I was told 8 weeks before the placement that I would be located 3.5 hours away from my home. Although I am more than willing to travel for work it was a little disheartening after spending a year abroad and being excited to have a summer at home with family/friends.

    3/5

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • I felt a lot of effort was put in by my line manager and colleagues in order to ensure I was learning about all aspect of my role as well as other roles that interested me in the company.

    5/5

  • 10. What were the perks on your work placement?
  • 3/5

  • 11. How appealing are future employment prospects within the organisation?
  • I think the prospects seem likely and bright. However it is unclear what the progression will be after a graduate scheme.

    4/5

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Unfortunately as the majority of us where places a long distance from home a fair few weekends were spent travelling back to see loved-ones, which meant although the weekly social scheme was ok, the weekends could be very boring.

    3/5

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • Much cheaper than what I am used to.

    5/5

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • Very good nightlife, not many opportunities to experience it.

    3/5

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • Not many. Graduates at the office where very helpful in providing intern/ graduate weekly activities

    3/5
