The Role
The work/learning process is really intellectually rewarding. You work at your own pace, but there is a lot of support from managers and other interns and graduates.
Most people were really bright and valued my skills as well.
There is a constant feedback process throughout the internship. Management will tell you what to improve and also expect that from you for the next work you submit.
You can work at your own pace, you use your time as effectively as you want.
I think you can understand the internship more as a teaching/training process. Some essential resources of analysts such as company management access and sell side access are not given to interns.
My improvement was very visible to me, not only regarding technical skills, but also for developing a broader picture.
The Company
I think people are rather calm and a bit reserved. In general, everybody is really willing to collaborate and to help.
Structure of the program is really good. You will always be busy, meet interns from the other areas and have social events as well.
I think the internship is almost a 100% investment. The benefit for the PMs is limited at this stage of your career, but the time they invest is really valuable.
Company Parties/Events
Working from home
I think a career here can be extremely interesting.
The Culture
Social scene and atmosphere was good.
London is known to be expensive, but salary and benefits are more than enough to cover this.
London nightlife is absolutely amazing, if you find the right people to go out with.
There is a charity event and multiple other opportunities organised by the company to get involved.
