The Role
I did not enjoy it very much at the beginning but gradually began to enjoy it.
I felt a part of the team within the very first week.
I had weekly feedback sessions and managers were always free and happy to field any questions I had.
Just the right amount of work for my level, some days were particularly busy.
I was given ownership over various pieces of work.
I learnt a lot about personal impact and first impressions and how other people perceive my actions which is something I had never before considered. I also learnt presentation, communication, excel, outlook and PowerPoint skills. I learnt the importance of time management and having a work-life balance, something I really should introduce to my university life.
The Company
It was friendly but formal.
Very well organised.
A lot I had weekly sessions and took part in e-learning courses.
Flexi Time
National Travel
I enjoyed my internship but am not sure as there are other employment areas I am considering. It is definitely a possibility.
The Culture
I'm not very social but it was good.
Cheap because I lived at home
I do not go clubbing so would not know, but from other people I have heard it is good
Not really.
