The Role
I enjoyed it more as it went on. I went thought a patch where I felt I couldn't reach out to anyone but this went away and I realised I could.
More as time went on.
Not until I asked for it and made it clear I needed it.
Not that busy, I had time to procrastinate but it depended on the day
Very little
I enjoyed my placement. I learnt a lot about my self and the professional environment that I had never been exposed to before. I am glad I did this placement.
The Company
At time very, very dull with everyone working so hard however things picked up and we went out more together as a team for drinks and lunches. Sometimes the atmosphere was a bit tense with the work load.
Not very. I got given jobs as the placement went on, but more to lighten up other peoples work load.
I believe the firm invested in the programme. They want us to further our learning and get involved with different departments and see new things.
Subsidised Canteen
Company Parties/Events
They are appealing as the grad scheme is a very viable option for my future. However I do feel a little trapped into doing it.
The Culture
Yes thre were lots of events and charity fundraising parties etc.
Very expensive as it is in central London (Liverpool Street). However I lived at home so the cost of rent was nothing therefore I was able to save some money for university.
Good, lots of bars and clubs
Yes, there were many opportunities to go out with colleagues on nights out or even just drinks after work on a Friday
