The Role
I found it a really enujoyable experience where I learnt a lot and was given real insight into the world of banking and the company as a whole.
My colleagues welcomed me as part of the team and gave me the help and advice I needed.
This was the only area I felt my internship was lacking in. Some more contact and guidence from my direct manager would have been valuable.
Very busy, but not excessively so, i had a good work life balance.
I had responsibility equal to those in my team.
The organisation and working skills my internship has given me are invaluable and will fully aid me with my studies.
The Company
Hard working, but not too intense.
Very well organised with intern events and opportunities to network with other interns, graduates and management.
I do not feel that much was invested in me over the 11 week period.
Fantastic company with good prospects. The internal mobility is a big advantage.
The Culture
Probably not as good as london as people tend to live local and have theiir families near.
Bournemouth is not that cheap as it is a popular tourist destination.
Bournemouth nightlife is fantastic.
Not especially, not much springs to mind that i can think of.
