The Role
I loved my time at M&G, the work was varied and the atmosphere in the office was excellent.
My responsibilities of course built over the 8 weeks and my team would offer feedback regularly and I had 1-on-1 meetings with my manager weekly so was aware of how I could add value to my team.
I had an excellent manager who was always available if I needed assistance on tasks or general questions about the business/industry.
With numerous training sessions and business insights alongside day-to-day I was constantly kept busy but with a manageable workload.
I was given a good amount of work throughout and was given work that fed into the work streams of my colleagues.
Although I don't do a finance degree there were a lot of training sessions that were very useful beyond my degree in how the industry/markets function.
The Company
The atmosphere was excellent, it was a very lively office and I was made to feel comfortable to get involved and ask questions.
The scheme was really well set up, there was a good balance between intern train sessions and social events while still being able to get involved in work and build other relationships around the business.
There were a good amount of training sessions.

International Travel
The prospects are very appealing, it is a great business to build a career
The Culture
Interns ate together most days and tended to go out for drinks most Fridays.
London so as expected pretty expensive.
Again, in London so strong nightlife.
There were a few opportunities for football and some other sports like golf.
