The Role
This internship was everything I wanted and more - It gave me a real insight into how the banking industry works and the best way to go forward with my career in banking.
My colleagues treated me with value and respect, allowing me to take control of large portfolios leading conference calls with senior stakeholders.
All manager and peers treated every case with kindness, no question was a silly question and the support was brilliant.
I was given a good workload that I was encouraged to manage personally, there was also support available if needed.
I was able to interact with senior stakeholders and take charge of large portfolios.
The skills developed here have been life lessons as well as intellectual lessons - I have been able to link the lessons learnt in my degree to real life situations and have been given a new way of tackling problems which I will take to next years studies.
The Company
really good atmosphere.
It was well run on a operational level, but contacting the emerging talent team proved to take a few days (not a problem though).
The company invested heavily into my personal development and gave me the platforms to take things further.
Subsidised Canteen

Company Parties/Events
Travel loan
awaiting to see if there is an offer but would love to work here.
The Culture
It was really good, sometimes there was a bit of a grad / intern divide on nights out. however within work this was brilliant.
The city we stayed in and the travel was expensive but the wage covered this well.
Really good
We were given a charity challenge to take part in and various events.
