The Role
As in all, I had my ups and downs during the internship. As an overall I really enjoyed my internship, but you have to have very clear that you want to dedicate yourself to this industry or else a couple of bad days in a row could totally ruin your experience.
I completely felt valued by my colleagues. I was assigned to a relatively small team which ultimately meant everyone new me, valued me and gave me responsibility at an early stage.
Management was there when you needed them, but day to day guidance and support were given by the more junior ranks.
I was very busy in a daily and constant basis, having to work through some weekends to finish pending tasks.
The amount of responsibility progressed in an upward trend as long as you demonstrated your colleagues that you were cable of handling it.
The skills I have developed have helped me deepen my knowledge in my degree studies to an extent I wouldn't be able to have learned in a classroom.
The Company
Busy and dynamic.
Excellent, no complaints. everything was clearly explained, and there was always someone to give further indications.
Considerably high, taken into consideration the number of speaker, network events and training sessions we had over the programme.
Subsidised Canteen
Company Parties/Events
The Culture
Yes, it was a nice a cheerful batch of interns.
Pretty expensive, considered you are working in the city centre of London.
London is expensive, but can't complain about the nightlife scene. It is just awesome.
Not really that many, weekends were mainly to rest and finish some pending tasks.
