The Role
A very welcoming and friendly company to work for
I was always included and never made to feel below any other colleagues
They were always willing to give up their time to help
There was a huge range of different activities that I could be investing my time in when interning including a project, a trading game, stock pitches and networking
Responsible on the most part for my own activities during the internship, although projects gave opportunity to research into topics of use/interest to the desk
I have gained a lot of life skills as well as technical knowledge and learning a computer programming language, which will benefit me in many areas
The Company
A nice team environment with a great balance of getting seriously to work and enjoying some banter
Rarely felt messed around except for many and occasionally unclear room changes
An overwhelming amount
Company Parties/Events
Inspirational company, especially for the finical sector
The Culture
Everyone was very friendly, a most sociable environment
Central London as expected is expensive, all things considered though, interns rarely paid for drinks with desk members. I feel like I got off quite lightly.
London has a lot of offer
There were few external opportunities for interns
