The Role
People at M&G are very nice and supportive. As long as you proactively talk to people, they are super willing to show you what they do and try to help you understand how they perform their tasks.
I was get involved in several live deals and was really given the opportunity to understand and go through the whole process. My work was also incorporated into the final product.
My supervisor has been very busy but he frequently check on me to ensure that I was given enough support.
It depends. When there is a new project, it can be very busy. When there's not, the deadlines would not be very tight.
Lots of responsibility.
The understanding about the investment industry and the process of doing research and forming well-founded arguments are very helpful.
The Company
Intellectual, super collaborative, and collegial.
It could be more structured with more review and feedback sessions. There's one mid-term review session and a final term review session. But here the amount of flexibility would benefit those who are proactive and allow people to be less bound by structures.
There were lots of workshops about different areas within investment.
