The Role
I enjoyed it because it was a lengthy placement which allowed me to truly get to know the team and take ona responsibility that I could own and really add value to a project.
I feel I was valued because I added value rather than being a burden which unfortunately often happens during work placements.
I had weekly feedback meetings and was always in touch with my Line manager and could ask for feedback and/or support at any time.
My workload increased as the placement went along. At times it was actually almost overwhelming but it was very stretching and taught me invaluable lessons on prioritisation.
I was given responsibility around stakeholder and colleague engagement. I was also responsible for scheduling meetings and trainings.
I have learned invaluable amounts on the corporate workplace. it will certainly help me in my academics and the future.
The Company
It was a good mix of serious down to business and fun.
It was excellent, great support structures and they had plenty for me to do.
I received the opportunity to speak with a great number of different senior figures and others on a wide scope of things.
