    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • I enjoyed it because it was a lengthy placement which allowed me to truly get to know the team and take ona responsibility that I could own and really add value to a project.

  • I feel I was valued because I added value rather than being a burden which unfortunately often happens during work placements.

  • I had weekly feedback meetings and was always in touch with my Line manager and could ask for feedback and/or support at any time.

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • My workload increased as the placement went along. At times it was actually almost overwhelming but it was very stretching and taught me invaluable lessons on prioritisation.

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • I was given responsibility around stakeholder and colleague engagement. I was also responsible for scheduling meetings and trainings.

  • I have learned invaluable amounts on the corporate workplace. it will certainly help me in my academics and the future.

  • It was a good mix of serious down to business and fun.

  • It was excellent, great support structures and they had plenty for me to do.

  • I received the opportunity to speak with a great number of different senior figures and others on a wide scope of things.
