The Role
Overall I enjoyed the experience of the internship, however I was hoping to have enjoyed it more than I did. Felt that more could have been done to provided a more rewarding and challenging experience.
Although I got on well with my colleagues I felt overall I was more of a burden to my team than an asset, because of all the teaching/training I required.
Upon asking I was provided with regular feedback and progress updates from my manager. However, if I hadn't asked I would have only received limited support and guidance.
Some days I was busy and stretched, but others I wasn't.
Given a significant amount of tasks that had relatively high importance. My work was not checked so it was my responsibility to ensure my work was corrected otherwise it would have impacted on my team.
My Excel skills, team working skills, presentation skills and leadership skills were developed throughout the internship.
