The Role
I enjoyed the business area that I was in and found the work interesting. I would have enjoyed it even further if I was even more challenged.
I felt very valued by my colleagues and felt very welcomed into my team from day 1. To improve, I would like to be given more responsibility.
I was always given support and guidance from my management and supervisors throughout my whole experience and always encouraged to ask if I needed anything.
I was quite busy but I was not rushed off my feet the whole time.
I was given pieces of work that added value to the Bank and I appreciated this a lot.
The skills and the experience that I developed and undertook will help me a lot in my future career and gave me a large insight into working for the bank, especially in the Risk division.
The Company
Everyone was very friendly, welcoming and very nice to each other.
Everything was organised well with good timescales and followed a good timeline with room for flexibility.
They invested in a lot of time and resources to develop personally and in terms of learning. They also invested a lot of time into the referral for the grad scheme.
Flexi Time
National Travel
Company Parties/Events
They are very appealing as I would like to work for the group in the division in which my internship was in but I want to make sure that once I work for the Bank, I can grow and progress in my career quickly.
The Culture
Very social! Lots of social events.
Lived at home. Average Birmingham prices.
Birmingham has great nightlife.
Yes! lots of opportunities especially with charities.
