The Role
I really enjoyed the variety of relevant work and the team was very welcoming.
At times I was completing essential work that was used in projects.
Whenever I had issues, either with admin or technical problems, I could ask for help from anyone. My supervisors checked on me and helped frequently.
I was usually given an appropriate amount of work, though at times there was no work available that I could complete.
In places my work was important and used directly, especially in some report writing cases.
I have covered much that will help me in the remaining years of my course, and I believe I have also discovered my specialism.
The Company
Either calm or cheery, never dull or too loud. Always a good atmosphere.
I was expected and handled well, with work given to me and a wide variety of projects sent my way to give me a wide experience.
At my level almost any experience would have counted as personal development, but I was always given training tasks before being asked to use new techniques.
Company Parties/Events
I have now seen the employment structure of the company, and the scheme I am on also improves my prospects.
The Culture
Team meals, sports events, employee leaving drinks, all fun.
Reasonable, especially as I was able to live from home and commute in.
Not fantastic, but enough pubs to keep up.
As mentioned in the socialising question, with more regular sports opportunities as well.
