The Role
Thoroughly enjoyed my internship as gained a wide exposure to the various Line of Businesses available along with business representatives at JPM.
Hugely, as I received important projects to execute, along with pitching to Senior Managers.
Received a lot of support, but at the same time independency to carry out projects, which my manager allowed.
Days flew by.
Significant responsibility for an intern. The tasks I have completed will be used by future employees, along with the aim for what I produced to be introduced globally.
Carried out technical analysis, along with learning some new skills on a day-to-day basis, so significantly.
The Company
Fantastic. My team members were very hospitable and welcoming, and were always there to answer questions and help out if needed. A very warm, lively environment.
Very organized, we had a calendar detailing specific events from the outset, along with weekly updates.
We received copious amounts of training on different aspects to finance. Although superficial, for someone who doesn't have a finance background this would be very useful. Throughout the internship it was more focused around independent learning.
Subsidised Canteen
Company Parties/Events
Healthcare/Dental
Massive. Internal mobility is one of the main focuses at JPMorgan, you witness it in whatever team you are put into, and so there will also be employment opportunities.
The Culture
Yes - this is obvious relative, however for my experience everyone was very sociable.
There are several sports tournaments/events organized by employees that anyone can attend to. You get out as much as you want, but you can easily find yourself having no free evenings.
