The Role
Really enjoyed the experience, good team atmosphere and working environment, Always had work to do and was reasonably challenged in terms of day-to-day work. Also had the opportunity to go to Glasgow and shadow there, as well as meet with various senior leaders.
Lovely team that made the effort to make me feel welcome from the start of the internship. I quickly integrated into the team and that was a foundation for getting a positive review - the fact that the team were cooperative and easy to work with. My colleagues often asked for my support and were comfident that I can deliver on time, ie they trusted me with tasks.
Excellent management of myself - my manager looked after me, trusted me with work and responsibility. Answered my queries and generally very supportive.
See next question - was given a lot of responsibility.
As I established a strong relationship with my team and as they valued me, they trusted me with a variety of tasks. I was not bored at any point of the internship and found myself leading various mini projects and having my own deliverables.
Improved time management and organsation skills a lot.
The Company
Good atmosphere in my team and between the other teams in GTB.
Excellent organisation - my manager ensured all important documentation was completed with good time. Weekly catch ups were organised and feedback was given for development purposes.
A lot of time.
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
If successfully referred to this company, I will take the graduate offer.
The Culture
Reasonably, there were quite a few networking events - maybe more freuqent team socials would be good.
Quite expensive as I worked in London.
Excellent... London nightlife...
Not as many as I would have thought, but through the responsible business challenge these opportunities were created.
